i changed out the tubes for a pair of Sovtek 12AX7LPS ,
hooked up the DB659 , and it sounds perfect ... just the way i remember !

We set up a trade online, and I would make the 5 hour drive round trip, (I have way too much stuff these days, and trading works for both of us). I couldn't be happier, and I got home way too late hanging out with a fellow Bassist!
