Hey everyone. This listing is for my Dean Markley Preamp DB. This is a super rare piece of gear, with almost no evidence that it even exists. They must not have made very many of these. If you are interested in it, this may be the only chance you ever have to buy one.
It is a super versatile pre, but it was probably designed specifically for double bass, thus the DB designation. As such, it doesn't work very well with active electric basses. It overdrives too easily with high output instruments. However, it is pretty dreamy with passive basses. It has two channels with boost only EQs, bi-amping capability, and a tube option for channel two. It sounds fantastic with my P and J basses.
Just had it in for a check up with my tech. Everything works as it should, and it is in great condition.
