Purchased new in December 2015, this Demeter Bass 400 is in excellent, like new condition. I've done fairly extensive A/B between the Bass 400 and the venerable VTBP-M-800D and, as they use the same preamp, they sound the same in a "blind ear test". The Bass 400 with its Burr Brown output stage is just slightly quicker than the 800D with its tube driven output.

I replaced the original 12AX7 tube with the terrific Philips JAN 12ATWC tube. The original 12AX7 tube is included, along with the power cable. This is one great amp!!!
