Dingwall D-Bird standard

I Got this Dingwall D-bird knowing that they would be considered rare and only go up in value. Of course the D-roc is available today, but this model is already very rare & hard to come by. I haven't seen any available new or used.
Sheldon stopped production when there was a Gibson backlash.
We all know that when there is a limited production or something that’s a small run, they only go up in value over time.
It’s the preferred blue to purple Colorswitch finish. It’s a really incredible bass but I am playing mostly 5’s these days so I would be open to trades for five string Dingwall‘s or other high end five string Basses.
This one is near mint and has the original Dingwall heavily padded soft case, tools & strap locks.

The weight on these is an incredible seven & a half pounds!

Feel free to shoot over any trade offers via PM.

Please include pics and details of your trade offer plus what type of trade it is whether it’s even swap or plus or minus cash

OMG that color! Could I play a bass that strikes me as a work of art? Stunning.

The answer is yes you could!
And the pics don’t do it any justice. When you move it around it turns from blue to purple and looks amazing!!

That is a beautiful bass! I have no gig for it yet I want it. :). Cool gigbag too!

I think if you get this you will have all the gigs you want.:)
Yes the bag is definitely the Cadillac of bags!!

The most important question, does it have 'authentic' neck dive?

hey Hida, that’s the beauty of these new birds is they have no neck dive due to balancing and strap placement.
In addition the weight is unbelievable being under 7 1/2 pounds!
