For sale Dingwall D-Roc Custom 5 Matte Ducati White

Up for sale is a gorgeous D-Roc Custom 5 purchased new from John Fox Bass in 2022. Smooth playing with a monstrous piano-like tone and thunderous snarl. I'm selling in order to fund a new ABZ build. I would rate this bass in excellent condition. It's never been gigged, lived its life in the case. Only on its second set of strings ever. It is not mint condition due to a 1mm ding on the lower body edge where I contacted a cymbal stand. It's not visible unless you are looking for it specifically. You could probably fill it in with metallic white nail polish, but I never bothered. There is a miniscule imperfection in the truss rod pocket that I tried hard to capture. And for full disclosure, the A string nut slot was cut too low from the factory. John Fox rebuilt and cut the nut slot and it plays perfectly with no buzzing or tuning instability. To compensate for this I am including two brand new Dingwall nuts so you are ready for alternate tunings if you desire.

The options on this bass are the full wenge neck, blue Luminlay side dots, and matte Ducati pearl white for a classic look. Bass is pictured in two different lighting conditions to demonstrate how reactive this paint is to light. To build this exact bass today it would cost $5590 and take 18-24 months to get.
