I’ve owned a dozen Dingwalls and this has been my absolute favorite of them all. It is currently set up with Payson Flats which gives it incredible flexibility imo. In passive mode I have plenty of bark when I need it, but in Active mode, I roll off the high mid and low mid, add a smidge of bass and have an incredible P Tone. I separated the pups simply because I like the fuller tone it creates and makes this bass much more versatile. I bought the Alperios pickguard for the swap but it is completely reversible and the original NG2 pickguard is included.
