2007 Dingwall Super J – P/J 4 - Gloss black alder body, gorgeous maple fretboard with the Aguilar OBP-1 preamp, the pots are clean, the neck is straight, the frets are perfect and the truss rod works as it should. It’s currently strung with a set of D’Addario nickel .105 - .045’s and weighs in at 8.5 lbs. on my digital bath scale.
Presently it is setup in a P/J configuration but it also includes an extra pearl white pick guard and FD-4 pickup so you can convert it over to the original J configuration.
This bass is in absolute beautiful condition (the pictures do not do this justice), there is not a scratch, ding or even the slightest amount of buckle rash on it, only some very slight scuffing just behind the pickguard where your thumb would rest. I can honestly state that it would be very hard to find another one of this year in this condition.
Ships in a Dingwall padded gig bag in near perfect condition with the exception of a very small tear on the back that was covered in black tape (see pics). Also included are a used set of Dingwall SS strings (in good condition) and the original wrench set.
