In a Pino Palladino-inspired colorway, this is one of the most versatile instruments I've owned. The P pickup can do anything from classic to modern P bass tones, and the bridge pickup nails the Jaco tone effortlessly. Put them together and this baby can do the Dingwall tone - that Nolly-inspired sound we all know from modern-day metal music.
This bass has a super light swamp ash body, weighing well below 8 lbs. Maple neck, pau ferro fretboard and Dingwall electronics - a P-tone neck pickup, and a SFII in the bridge. The body is routed to be able to do a J pickup in the neck position, but it would require a new pickguard to accommodate that. A previous owner had the FD3 pickup in the bridge, which will be included with the bass. Also comes with a set of Dingwall allen keys - everything you would need to adjust this bass. It's currently set up with pretty low action and a set of DR Legend flatwound strings 45-105. Comes in a standard Dingwall gig bag.
This bass has a couple nics that were difficult to photograph - there are two small dings in the ball, a a small scuff at the top of the headstock (pictured), and a small dent on the bottom of the body (also pictured).
