I built a frankenbass and I love it, but the neck has too much relief for its truss rod to correct, so I need a 5 string body and neck to transfer all my hardware and electronics to.
Desired:
- Able to accommodate 17.5” string spacing
- prefer angled headstock
- MUST be lightweight
- don’t give a crap about the color
- doesn’t need to be a FSO
- pickups I’m installing are PJ, but I can deal with anything, just have the cavities routed/blocked
I like ash bodies, but whatever is light works.
