
Offering this early 50s Framus plywood URB. I simply am not playing upright any more and it's just collecting dust. Someone needs to be playing her.
Completely rebuilt 8-10 years ago (can't put my hands on the receipt at the moment...but I have it somewhere) by The Bass Violin Shop in Greensboro, NC.
Body was disassembled and completely reglued.
Neck was re-set and FB planed and straightened.
New carbon fiber end pin
New sound post
New bridge
New (then) Obligato red/black felt (if I remember correctly) strings

Even though she shows some wear on the outside, this bass is very solid, plays well with low action. Eb neck.
I'm about 10 miles west of Charleston, WV. It would be impossible to safely ship, but would be happy to meet within a reasonable distance.
