There is a "gain" control on the Memory Toy section that allows you to boost or cut your output volume, in addition to the controls on the Metal Muff. There is also a gate on the Metal Muff, allowing you to use it as sort of a gated fuzz. I don't dislike it, but I now have other individual pedals doing the same things for me.
