This is a great, special bass. It's an Elrick 5 New Jazz Standard with a paddle headstock. The previous owner custom ordered it. It has Nordstrand pickups that with a switch to put them both in series. The bass also has an Aguilar pre-amp, but can be played in passive mode with no tone control. The bass is in great shape, but had normal player's wear. It has new DR Black Beauties that were installed (for Spring 2025 pit work) by a luthier that also did a complete setup. Strung B~G.
I'm looking for a comparable 6 string (Elrick for Elrick?), but will consider any make with 18 or 19 mm string spacing.
Less expensive instruments plus cash would also be considered. I live in Connecticut, so hand delivery to neighboring states is preferred over shipping.
