This bass is exquisite. Fully hand built by Rob Elrick in the US. It is Mint/as new condition. The bass was custom ordered and completed last month (December 2024). As the title says, this is an Elrick Gold 6 string, 32 inch scale, 16.5 spacing, at a weight of 7.9 pounds! Body is swamp ash. Top is a very special and unique piece of ambrosia maple. Neck is maple. Fingerboard is Macassar ebony
Ergonomically, this is the most comfortable bass I’ve ever played. As stated, it weighs 7.9 pounds. And the zero fret allows for the lowest action I’ve been able to achieve on a bass.
The tone is beautiful, perfect!
So, why am I selling. I am a bit nuts, but I’m partial to the look of a single cut, rather than a double cut bass. That’s it. I’m sure to some, this sounds odd but it
is the only reason I’m selling.
The only trade interest would be for an Adamovic 6 string single cut. Otherwise, thanks for looking!
