For sale is a nearly new set of EMG Jazz Bass X series pickups and the solderless wiring harness that comes with it, including the active time control.

These came in a new bass I recently bought and try as I might, I still don't like EMGs and prefer passive jazz pickups.

What did you like and not like about these? I'm not too familiar with this model.

I just don't like EMGs and never have. The bass was incredible but I knew when I bought it that I'd be swapping out the pickups.

They sound good and I've gotten a bunch of compliments on the tone but I like the lower resonant peak of passive jazz pickups and don't like changing batteries.

They sound like very clean, silent jazz pickups with a piano like tone.
