I've got a P/J set of EMG X-series active pickups for sale.
The X series "provides increased headroom giving the voicing an organic and open tone while still maintaining the clarity and response that EMG’s are renowned for." (Their words, not mine.) Sound nice to me, though.
Bought these at the start of 2013 for another project that didn't happen, so I put them in an old backup Soundgear that sits around the house and never leaves. The backup is now a backup backup, and it doesn't make sense to leave them in there, so here you go. I haven't pulled them yet - the picture is as installed (i.e. bass isn't included.)
Includes pots for VVT wiring, and all of the solderless plug-in wiring, so installation is a breeze. Also includes battery clip, buss board (I didn't need it, but if you EQ, you might), output jack, black knobs, washers, and screws. I don't have instructions, but they are on EMG's site, and it's dead simple to wire these things with no soldering.
$120 shipped. CONUS only, paypal only. (These are $199 on EMG's site, and $179ish street.)
