Uncle Rick here again. Long time, no see! Well, the rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated, and I am once again here from the great beyond of Coldwater, Michigan, the armpit of the Midwest, to enhance your tonal arsenal.

Up for grabs is a beautiful, sparkly blue and orange race-car-looking sweet compressor of a thing, the Empress Bass Compressor! Much like a pedal I listed earlier today, I bought this puppy right here used a while back (6ms maybe?), and it has lived happily on my pedalboard in my smoke-free home. It has never even left my house, much to its dismay. This is the second time I have owned and sold this pedal, and it probably won't be the last. But my financial situation being what it is, I must liquidate some assets before my asset gets liquidated.

This is one of the best compressor pedals you will ever have the good fortune of trying. But in the immortal words of "Reading Rainbow's" Levar Burton, don't take my word for it. Check out our resident compression guru Scuba's review:

This pedal is the best of both worlds. (All three worlds? Is that a thing?) If you are into clean compression (your bass will still sound exactly like your bass, only compressed, with more sustain, and smoother and/or punchier), this is your pedal. On the other hand, if color and flavor are more your thing, the tone switch on this bad boy is a thing of pure magic. To the left, it juices the lows and highs while scooping the mids ever so slightly resulting in an absolutely delicious fat sandwich. And the "colour" that it adds is just the right amount of saturation. Super tasteful. Just enough to make you sit real pretty-like in a mix. To the right, it gooses your mids a bit to make you cut through. The "colour" portion of the "tone & colour" can be defeated via internal dip switches, but why would you want to do a stupid thing like that?! I guess if you only want the "tone" and not the "colour," which is also lovely. And the metering is second to none. It makes it very easy to dial in like a pro.

It is in excellent+ condition, with one or two of the tiniest hairline scratches on it that you will likely never see. I tried to show them in the pics (on the left side), but it was nigh impossible to see in pics. It functions as good as new, and will come with all of the original Empress goodies shown in the pics.

I'm asking $225 via Paypal shipped via USPS Priority Mail, and I will ship within two business days of receipt of payment.

I am not looking for trades at this time

Thanks for looking.

Here's the good stuff . . .
