Details

Great sounding Alder body with Maple neck and stock P and J Seymour Duncan Pickups. This isn't an LTD; it is an ESP. There is a definite difference. It was originally $1500 at Guitar Center, but bought it for $125 less without the case, so it also sold without a case. It is strung with Flat wounds for a vintage sound. It is passive and has a great vintage sound. It was a bass I was going to keep forever, but I need to down size. It has never been gigged. I can't take any trades, but this is a great price. $800 plus shipping.

Great looking bass!

Just curious as to the differences between this and an ltd vintage 204?

ESP's are made in Japan, LTD's in Korea. ESP's use hardwoods like alder, LTD's use basswood. ESP's use Seymour Duncan PU's, LTD's use "ESP Designed" (code for outsourced to low bid) and the fit and finish of the Japanese basses rival USA made. I sold my Fender Am. Deluxe 4 to purchase this bass after I played it at Guitar Center. I just don't play 4's anymore and I don't think there is a Vintage 5, or I would look for one.

I don't know if you want from sting to string or from edge of the nut to the edge of the nut, but approx. Edge - Edge 1 & 11/16 "ish" and Sting - String is 1 & 3/8 inch. Sorry I'm not much help.
Actually that is very helpful. Thanks!

I don't really feel comfortable doing that. It doesn't come with a case and I don't think that type of shipping is safe without one.

An option could be that of disassembling the neck from the body, and put everything in a box.

Are you open to offers ? ... or the price is firm ?

Excellent bass. I've played a couple and they're easily as good as the coveted 1980's ESP 400 Series instruments. GLWTS!

I really like it, but I really only need my two 5 strings. The passive thump sound with both pickups is great and with flats, you can really dial in vintage tones.
