For sale is an Fbass BN5 fretted bass. It has a swamp ash body, with maple neck and fingerboard, and a sunburst finish. While this bass has collector appeal because of its serial number, this is a player’s bass and has some scuffs, a couple minor finish chips at the neck pocket, and ordinary signs of use, but overall, it is in good shape. The frets are in good shape. It is serial number 010100, which if I have my Fbass terminology correct, means it is the first bass, of the first month, of the year 2000, making it the first Fbass of the millennium. Bathroom scale says weight is 9.5 pounds. Sale includes the original Fbass gig bag.
