Details

You can still buy this bass new, but you can't have this color (Seminole Red) because it has been "retired."

I've tried to capture the in person experience of this bass in the photos. But it's hard to portray the sound, feel and smell; that has to be experienced. By my count, it has 7 small nicks/dings, which I've tried to show. I'm a little perfectionistic, and they don't bother me. I guess, if I was keeping it, I might touch them up, but I'll leave that decision to you.

I'm the second owner. I've never gigged it and I don't think it saw much action before I bought it. It is all original, including the mint guard and, far as I can tell, has all the original case candy. I love everything about this bass, but it's my 5th P Bass and I'm trying to cut back... I'm sure you can dig it.

WHAT IT WEIGHS: Turns out it is exactly 9 lbs.

The OHS case is nearly perfect and, IMO, really beautiful. Didn't realize how turned on I could get by Blonde tolex...:woot:

Price includes CONUS shipping.

I don't think I mentioned what a joy this is to play. Great tone and feel, just like you'd expect. Feel free to make an offer, talk to me. I just need to turn it into some cash.

First weight on my digital postal scale was 8lbs 15oz, but the next three were 9.0 lbs even. So, there you go. Anything else you'd like to know about this beautiful classic? Let me know. It's all stock. You can see the specs on the link in my original post.

Looks like you can't tell the year of manufacture on these AVRI's without removing the neck, which l'm not inclined to do. Am I correct?

Its a 2013 just like mine. Serial is on the heel, year is after the letter.

That's what I thought, but read on the fender dating project site that serials on AVRI's don't correspond with manufacture dates, so look on the heel of the neck.
