I keep buying Jazzes for some reason even though I prefer the tone of P basses...
Here we go again. Just bought this beautiful Jazz as an impulse buy here on TB. I always loved the white maple look of these. Got it, put LaBellas on it, and played it for a couple hours. Then I pick up my AO Precision and feel at home. I love the look of Jazz basses, but I just keep trying to make them sound like Precisions, which they don’t. Someday I will learn..
Neck is awesome and it plays really nice. Bridge has been changed to a threaded style at some point prior to arriving to me. Weight is lighter than my P...8 lb 13 oz on my scale. Every AVRI I’ve owned has been high quality, and this one is the same. Great bass, I just want to put a P pickup in it lol.
Comes with case with a couple of broken latches. Middle one works. Comes with bridge cover and I can throw in a neck pickup cover I have lying around. Bridge or saddles were replaced with a 60’s threaded style.
