Here I have a stunning example of a Fender Custom Shop 1963 Jazz Bass in Journeyman Relic Fiesta Red. Bass is lightweight, resonant, and built to last with its quartersawn neck. The bass has been drilled for Thud Muffins mutes, and those are included with the OHSC. Only modification I did to the bass is put Gotoh Res-o-lites on it. Drop in fit. I don’t have the original tuners as they were not present when I purchased the instrument. Bass without the Res-o-lites weighted 8.9 lbs, so whatever it is currently is less than 8.9 lbs. Bass is strung with brand new labella flats.
It’s a Journeyman Relic, so a super light relic with light checking and smaller than fingernail sized dents.
VERY stable neck. I lubricated the truss rod with very small amounts of triflow and graphite grease, very smooth and responsive.
