This is a Modified Player Model, with a lightweight ash body and custom pickguard. I bought a brand new player bass, but wanted a lighter instrument. I found this used, but very good, ash body that I liked. The weight was perfect for this project bass, and I really liked the color and the custom pickguard that was on it. I have too many basses already and this was meant to be my winter project bass, one that I would be proud to own and play, but also meant to pass on to another lucky person. All parts were removed from my new bass and installed on the ash body. Once I completed my part of the build I took it to a professional luthier for completion and final setup.

This turned out even better than I anticipated, but I always have another project in the works, and can't keep every bass that I complete. It has a pretty low action which plays extremely well. I will include an older Fender Bass gig bag. It's nothing fancy, but is completely functional and will offer protection in shipping.
