Fender Precision Plus Bass Neck

Purchased this recently from the Stratosphere for a project with an old Univox body. I was pleasantly surprised with this neck. Satin finish, rolled edges, good fretwork. I installed G&L lightweight tuners (same ones as on the US G&L basses).

Couple things to mention on this neck. One, when I was drilling for the tuners, I went too far and went through the front of the headstock in 1 spot. It’s not noticeable unless you are up close but it’s there.

Also, the mounting screw holes were plugged and re-drilled as the mounting is slightly different on the Univox body.

Body is listed separately.

What are the holes plugged with, and are they close enough to the other holes to cause a problem? can you post a pic of the area? Thanks.

They are plugged with wood dowels. They are close to to the other holes but I’m not sure what you mean by “cause a problem”. If I were to redrill for the Fender pattern I would fill the current holes and redrill the old ones. I’ll try to get a pic later.

Thanks.By cause a problem, I meant the holes being too close together when drilling the Fender spec holes.
