+1 The MIM ones IME are more rectangular than trapezoidal. Those appear to be compatible with a Japanese Fender.

Thanks for the input! They came on a neck I purchased from another TBer. He said they were on par with MIA Fender quality tuners but I wasn't sure so I didn't want to exaggerate.

I'd agree with his assessment of them, but probably a good call on your part. I'm not sure everyone would agree that they're on par with the MIA ones. I do have that type on a couple basses though and have never had any issues; they work well IMO. Glwts.
