We had a trade deal in place where I added cash to even the deal including PayPal fees and shipping (which was supposed to be included in the sale price, but hey I agreed anyways).

After sending him the money mid-week, we both agree to ship on Saturday. My bass I'm sending is all boxed and about to take it to the shipper but I need one more piece of info for the shipment. So I contact him, at which point he says he is backing out of the deal (after money was sent and withdrawn from PayPal). At least he told me BEFORE I shipped the bass.

It took him a few days to send me the money back via PayPal (after he asked if he could just send me a check).

My thought is that a deal is a deal, especially after money has traded hands.

I will never deal with him again. Fair warning.
