This is the first generation Monarch which varies from the Standard series they are producing today. This model has a 3 piece Maple neck as opposed to the 1 piece neck they are using on the current Standard series. It also has a comfortable cutaway and an angled headstock. These are now custom options from Fodera. It has a rosewood board, mahogany body and a quilted maple top. These models came standard with an ebony headstock overlay. EMG P/J pickups with a Mike Pope pre-amp. This bass is moody and has a ton of character and usable tones. 9.2 lbs on my scale. Some small scratches that I've tried to picture. Comes with a padded gig bag.
