Looking to sell a frankenbass I designed and had built about fifteen years ago. It was inspired by Carl Thompsons, alembics and ritters. I do not remember the Luther's name.
Bass lines soapbar pickups, kahler trem, sperzal locking tuners, Aguilar obp-3 running at 18v, maple carvin neck w/ rosewood board, alder wings with a beautiful, thick spalted maple top. It will need a set up. Comes in between 8-9lbs (my scale is awful). A trussrod wrench, a case, and the arm for the trem are included.
I think that this price represents the cost of the materials and components, but I can be flexible with it. I hate that this bass never did it for me, but hopefully it can make someone else happy.
Would be open to trades. 80's G&L's or serek's (i'll throw in cash to make up the difference), short scales or fretless basses are welcome too!
