For sale FS/FT Skjold Pro Series 5-string

Skjold Pro Series 5 string -

- Black Limba body
- 3 piece maple neck
- Pau Ferro fingerboard
- 24 frets
- Skjold SC1 pups (Split coils; no hum but sound like single coils!)
- 8lb6oz (by digital bathroom scale method)
- Deluxe John East pre (installed 2011 by Pete)
- 18mm spacing. 1 7/8" nut width
- 35" scale (but feels like 34" due to bridge placement)
- active/passive modes (pull switch on knob)
- Dunlop straplocks

Killer bass, extremely versatile with the Deluxe East pre, hate to give it up but raising cash for another purchase.

The only flaws I can find under the bright lights are two small pinhead size dings on the lower bout and next to the lower straplock on the edge. They are only visible under close examination and are quite superficial. Neither will photograph. Some of the pics have what looks a little like finish hazing, but those are reflection artifacts since I had to take the pics indoors under can lights - those do not represent actual finish flaws. There's a bit of string change wear on the black bridge as well, which is shown in one pic.

Neck is straight, action low, and frets in great shape. I've encountered no functional issues - sounds great!

Now $1700 - Paypal OK, USPS money order preferred, includes pro packing and shipping to lower 48. No international sales, please. Would also consider trades (+ cash as appropriate) for Sadowsky 5's, particularly P/J models.
