zon scepter. theres is many cracks in the paint but fully belive there is no cracks in the body. i have owned this bass for a year and is very solid. the only issues other than the paint are the intonation screws are stuck and two of the pickup screws are missing. it sounds amazing best sounding bass i have ever owned. its the only bass that i can enjoy playing unpluged. i do not have a case.

800 plus shipping or best offer, or trade for a tube head like a sunn.

Woah what a deal.

How is the balance on this? With such a thin horn and a not insubstantial headstock, I could imagine neck dive being an issue.

it balances great with a leather strap. not sure about other straps though. all i own is leather ones.

im located in pennslyvannia.

are you sure about the pickup. it has holes for 4 screws but only has 2 on a diagonal.

On my ZONs the pick up screws are two diagonally that apply downward pressure and two diagonally that are under the pickup that apply uppward pressure. This results in a very stable pickup. You will need a jewlers screwdriver to access the lower screws, but it's an ingenius solution.

Hope this helps and I really dig the looks of that bass :)
