I purchased this bass new in 1993. Played in countless gigs through the 90's, but always babied and well taken care of.

Body: Maple (2 pc.)
Neck: Maple, 1 1/2" at nut, slim profile
Fretboard: Rosewood, 24 fret
Pickups: P/J Ibanez, active
Controls: Vol/Bal/Bass/Treble

I will say this. I am not an Ibanez fan, and I really do not like the SR series especially the SR500.

However I played an older model like this in a local music store, and it blew my mind how fantastic this bass played. I'm not really playing 4 strings anymore, but this sure does make me want to.

Bump for a great bass and a great price!
