This is a NYC Alleva-Coppolo RA4. This is the bass that Jimmy used on his website as the RA4 model. If you are looking for an amazing sounding and playing bass this is it. Body is Inca silver nitro-cellulose lacquer and the pick guard is three ply black/white/black. (The pics shows the old wt/bl/wt pick guard).
The RA4 is an alder body with a maple board complete with black blocks and binding. The neck has a vintage tint and lollipop tuners. Pickups are custom-wound Alleva-Coppolo pickups and it has on-board two-band / defeatable Alleva-Coppolo preamp. Also has a vintage tone control (VTC).
There is some wear on the body which includes couple of small paint chips and dings. I tried in the pics to show as best as I can. If 10 is new I'd give this an 8.5 for some road wear but you are looking for one of THE best playing and sounding bass on the planet and not a coffee table - right?
Includes a Protec deluxe padded gig bag. BTW - I'm retiring from playing so I'm selling everything (see other posts).
