GK MB500 started as the infamous MB2 500. Has the better B1 preamp board from the MB500, so none of the MB2 issues. The gain control has been repaired as it was sheared off. I have used this head for 2.5 years 50 or 60 times with no problems at all. It's been well used with much success.
