Good morning, the great gear liquidation continues…
I’ll be listing various parts for sale for a project that never came to fruition…I’ve been collecting these parts for about 5 years now, and my priorities have shifted from having a house full of gear to fixing, well, the house.
One of these is an incredibly rare pickguard from General Vintage Tone. It’s the top of the line 100% celluloid nitrate, all 3 ply.
Lashing and guitarslinger were the other mint guards I’ve had in the past, and the quality of this one matches or exceeds those. It’s really stellar and quite substantial for a pickguard. You will see what I mean when you feel it in your hands.
Typically, if he has one available, it’s part of the “masters of aging” series. This one is was ordered as new, so it will age on its own once you peel off the plastic and use it. The mint color will become more apparent with time as well.
Right now, it is brand new, never installed, still with plastic peel off cover. It’s from out of a Time Machine from 1960
I paid $350 for it shipped. Get a brand new guard for a solid little discount, $300 shipped conus.
