Here is a extremely nice Masterbuilt Warwick Steamer CV. This one was built in Germany and different than the cheaper team-built models. It was originally passive but as soon as I got it, I added the John East preamp that it deserved along with a set of Nordy Big J Blades. I will include the original Mec pups that look new. I’m a huge John East pre fan and it matches really well with these pickups.
I had the bass Pleked at Straight Frets in Austin and the the frets polished in the process….doubt you’ve seen/played more perfect frets.
It’s wearing the same TI Flats that I installed on it when it was pleked 5 years ago….they sound and play soooo sweet.
The rosewood board is absolutely beautiful and the flamed maple neck is amazing.
The body is swamp ash.
Neck is 1.5 at nut and thin front to back.
8lbs 6.4oz
Out of all of the basses I’ve played over the years, there have been none more comfortable.
It’ll ship in the original flight case.
Shipping included to lower 48
