First is a very nice G&L Climax from the early 1990s. I haven't pulled the neck so I don't know the year or body wood. Body finish is gloss black, the neck has a satin clear finish that has become nicely tinted over the years. This has been played and has plenty of light scrapes, tiny dents and fingernail scratches but nothing major. The neck is the wonderful #6 - Jazz width at 1.5" wide and with a nice full round back contour and vintage 7.5" fingerboard radius. Comes in a well used molded SKB case that's solid and has a bolt replacing one of the handle rivets. Weight is a typical 9.6 lbs.

Second is a very clean Gibson EB bass I picked up here on TB recently. I really wanted to try out these new alnico soapbars and while they are very nice, I'm just not a Gibson guy. The body/neck finish is a thin satin coat and is cream in color - very attractive with the tort guard. This bass is super light at 7.8 lbs but it balances fairly well on a strap. It sounds great, nice and full with simple vol/vol/tone passive controls. Comes in the new condition original Gibson hardcase.

Third is a Mike Lull 54P that's in excellent condition. These are terrific basses, I liked this one so much that I had him build me one with a Jazz width neck so this one has to go. The body is mahogany with a vintage white gloss finish and a clear pickguard that's been painted metallic gold on the backside. It looks really nice, sort of like those gold Rickenbacker pickguards. The neck is maple with a lovely dark rosewood board and a matching painted headstock. The neck is P width at 1.75" wide and has Mike's comfortable round C back contour. Weight is very light for a mahogany body at 7.4 lbs. Comes in the standard Lull ProTec gigbag in excellent condition.

Last is a wonderful fretless Wal Mk2 built in 2000. I just picked up my first ever Mk3 and boy is it fantastic. I really love how that bass feels so it's time to let this great Mk2 go. The body is mahogany with American Walnut facings and the fingerboard is ebony with fretlines. The body finish has become very thin on the back and you can see a little playing wear on the front above the pickups but overall the condition is excellent. The bone nut is new, when I got this bass it had a replacement nut and some tearout of the ebony fingerboard around the nut slot. I had Mike Lull plek the fingerboard and make a new nut and it's just perfect now, you can get really consistent growl all over the fingerboard. Weight is on the lighter side for a Wal at 9.6 lbs, comes in an Elrick hardcase that will protect it well but it's too long. I'll pack it very carefully for shipping.
