Here's a 2013 Gibson EB5 natural finish in excellent condition, modified by Mike Lull, with hardshell case also in excellent condition for $865 Paypal F&F, Zelle, etc., plus actual shipping cost.
I have been on the fence for a while about selling this bass, but it's not getting much--well, hardly any--playing time because its "stablemates" are pretty compelling! My NYC Sadowsky gets the lion's share of my playing time, and I have a couple of Mike Lulls, a Ken Smith, a Musicman Stingray 35th Anniversary and an Ibanez GWB that share the other 10-15%.
I bought this bass 10-ish years ago from Sweetwater. I loved the way it played, but I couldn't quite get the snap out of it that I was looking for. I took it to Mike Lull and asked for his advice. He recommended adding an Bartolini 3 band active preamp. (It's an NTMB-F, with mid center frequency selector (250 Hz or 800 Hz, if I recall correctly). He installed an dual 9v battery chamber on the back of the bass, a side-mount input jack and added a series/parallel switch for the pickups. The results were very impressive and gave the bass the voice I was hoping for. If this were my only bass, I could happily play it for the rest of my life. But it's not ... So it's time for this one to find a new home!!
Let me know if you have any questions! Here are some pics!
