For sale GK MB 500 (v.2)

Power section fully Functional but preamp needs a service. In its current condition it's a reliable 500 watt power amp.

Cosmetically it's 100% but has scratchy pots / distorted sound that is annoying, so I bypass the preamp section altogether.

Emailed GK (Jason) yesterday and he quoted $150 plus parts not including shipping. He said "we have the parts, but not the preamp boards, but the parts will be minimal"

$150 shipped is my lowest to recover costs on my end.

If it does not sell I'll continue using it as a power amp as the return jack bypasses the preamp altogether and the power section is clean as a whistle. No issues whatsoever getting the 500 watts @4 ohm this thing delivers.

And if you have a preamp that you like (I use the Genzler Magellan Bass-Pre with it and it slams) you can use a 1/4" TRS (balanced line) from your preamp into the effect return and its clean power.
