I just installed my 32" conversion neck. It's great! Other than being easier to play because of the shorter scale, it also solved some other problems that weren't obvious to me at first. The 34" bass body has more wood up under the right wrist which allows me to relax my shoulder and arm muscles and use my wrist as a point of reference while shifting across strings. I have a couple of short and medium scale basses that end up being uncomfortable and more difficult to play because my right arm is always up in the air. Also, the Lowe's neck while expensive is a whole lot less than a new 32" bass and is very nice to play.
I was astonished at how awesome this neck was. If I ever need a replacement neck, I know who to contact.
Everything about the transaction was super smooth. Order form was easy to use and communication was great!
Purchased one in maple/maple. A work of art. Beautiful figuring, excellent sanding finish and fretwork. Added a nut and paid a pro for a gloss spray. Bolted onto a Fender body and it plays wonderfully!
I purchased this bass. I asked Brad to change the neck to one of his 32" scale necks and he was happy to help. He also sent me two sets of pickups to try because I wasn't sure which set I wanted. When I made my selection, I returned the other set. Communication was always prompt and Brad provides great customer service. The bass is phenomenal. Beautiful build with many unique features. I would happily buy from Brad again.
