USA Handmade Headless 5-String Bass For Sale!

Hey everyone! I’m selling a one-of-a-kind headless bass that I built a few years ago during the pandemic. Made in my garage with power tools and lots of elbow grease, this bass took me about three months to complete. It’s a prototype for sure but fully functional and ready to play.
The finish isn’t perfect—it has a few small chips and dents, but nothing noticeable from more than a few feet away. It features a black paint with a light clear coat, so just handle it with care! I designed this bass to be versatile in any gig situation, and it’s passed every test I’ve put it through. It’s my take on a futuristic, modern, cyberpunk-inspired Fender Jazz Bass. The bass has great intonation, and very stiff maple neck that stays in tune for months at a time!
I love this bass and hate to see it go, but I need some extra holiday cash this year. It’s truly a one-of-a-kind instrument & a one of one.
Specs:
This bass has a killer back pickup tone, perfect for solos, harmonics, and chords. The neck pickup delivers a deep, classic P-Bass sound, while both pickups together offer that rich, dynamic Jazz Bass tone. It’s essentially a modern twist on a Jazz Bass with a headless design and futuristic style!
I’ll include the Hipshot tool for changing strings as well as links to resources for operating the headless system.
Weighing around 10 lbs, it’s not the lightest bass, but the headless design eliminates neck dive, and with a good strap, it’s super comfortable to play.
Check out the video below for a quick demo I recorded late last night. Please excuse the mistakes lol—it’s completely dry with no EQ or effects, so you’re hearing the pure tone straight from the pickups.

- Neck: Roasted maple with a Tru Oil finish (super slick feel), neck is very straight and doesn’t not move at all during seasons!
- Body: The body wood is made of a one piece Alder body
- Frets: Vintage Fender-style stainless steel (smaller for fast playing)
- • Zero Fret: I have sort of a makeshift zero fret installed for the bass which helps with sustain and intonation, the fret end is hanging off of the fret board currently but if need I can snip that off if you like personally I think it’s cool and I like how it looks hangin my off but if your not a fan I can fix that for you!
