Thanks again for the trade.
It's an 'interesting' bass and one I'm sure I'll eventually enjoy but I'm going to need to dial in the electronics and set up. Pretty buzzy, but not obnoxious and one switch doesn't appear to do anything! Intonation is way off and the brass nut is cut so low that the strings are wearing on the top of the fretboard as they travel over it to the tuners. Oh, the truss rod cover is being held in place by the strings - not screws!.
Carey Nordstrand's shop is fairly close to me so I may take it to him to see what he can do with it. The guy who wired this up did an awful job. This was not done by the builder or Carey, I'm sure of that. Not entirely sure it is a Nordstrand Pre-Amp either.
Nonetheless, it plays very nicely and I'm sure I'm going to like it once it's doctored a bit.
