I have a few nice pedals that aren't going to get used a whole lot. It's time to move them on. I'll cover shipping. I can provide more pics and info if needed.
I closed this thread for a while thinking that I would keep the Type Two Chorus. I really like it, and it will be hard to replace, but I'm just not using a lot of chorus at the moment.
The Type Two and the Grobert are still available.

(A lot) more info on the Type Two Chorus from Horrothia:

Horrothia TYPE TWO - #006 of 7. Completely grey - urban commando colourway. With new old stock Panasonic BBD.

I will make 7 of these TYPE TWOs for now, each one has an individually hand stamped enclosure.

Four years ago we released the TYPE ONE. Since then, I've had many many feature requests and suggestions. After much deliberation and R&D, here is the first step towards a production TYPE TWO.

The TYPE ONE took the Boss CE-1, distilled its essence and offered the chorus side up in a small format with super high quality components, low noise floor, the arcade style footswitch and stereo outs. The sound detail with the TYPE ONE is very, very close to my reference 1979 Boss CE-1.

The TYPE TWO adds to this:

  • Both CHORUS AND VIBRATO sides from the CE-1
  • External INPUT GAIN control
  • WIDTH of modulation control (operates on both VIBRATO and CHORUS sides... CE-1 only operated on the Vibrato side
  • MIX control to balance wet and dry signals
  • An enhanced, quieter bypass switching
  • Buffered split bypass
The VIBRATO and CHORUS sides of the TYPE TWO are modelled very closely after the CE-1. Max and min speeds are the same, so are the modulation widths, and also the way the modulation depth changes in tandem with the INTENSITY control. The VIBRATO side has a shallower modulation and completely different LFO waveform to the CHORUS side, again, just like the CE-1.

WIDTH control is implemented in the same way as the CE-1; as you lower the control from max, it tends the bias of the LFO toward a centre point, unlike many choruses. This gives the TYPE TWO and the CE-1 a very particular character. WIDTH is also functional in CHORUS mode, unlike the standard CE-1.

MIX adds gradually more dry signal to the wet. To get the standard CE-1, position it around 2 o'clock. Tune this in precisely to the instrument you are playing with... it behaves almost like a reverb control, adding it's own depth to the effect.

The Broadcast AP is one I wouldn’t mind keeping. I had it set up for the most amazing pick tone. But there’s so much other stuff I’d like to try.

Oh, I almost forgot (how dare I?) I would be open to trades. I was hoping to sell to fund something else, but it looks like we came up with a mutually beneficial trade deal on that.
So I would be interested in either a straight trade or something with minimal cash +/-

Run anything by me. I’m open to ideas.
