For sale Ibanez Black Eagle Reissue

Was going to hold onto it, but it’s back on the block; I think it’s just time, and still I may indeed replace it someday.

These are killer Jazz basses. If I didn't have my 76 black eagle, I would have never gotten rid of my reissue. Growly, punchy, and mean! These bad boys have mahogany bodies like the originals.

There *is* still an original out there that I owned briefly and would buy back given the chance - it's a birth-year bass for me ('77) and is the lightest-weight original I've ever seen. Vintage Guitar Magazine owns it now and won't give it back. *grumble*

This reissue, by the way, is a svelte 8-pounder on my postal scale! Lighter than most of the originals by quite a bit.

Did I mention it’s a lightweight? 8lb 1oz!!
