Up for sale is my Ibanez BTB845V 5 string (E A D G C) that I bought from Sweetwater back in 2018. I had fun for a while with it but ultimately I am an upright bassist and this got put in the closet after a few years. It is a fun bass but I can't justify keeping it. The bass is in great shape and it never really left my studio (smoke free). It comes with a new Ibanez gig bag to protect it in transit. Looking for $725+ shipping cost to CONUS. I am in Los Angeles and can do a local sale too. This feels like a fair price especially when comparing to others for sale on reverb/ebay.
Per Ibanez:
The BTB845V is a five string BTB series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez in 2018. It is made in Indonesia as part of the Ibanez Bass Workshop line and is part of the shorter (838mm/ 33") scale "Volo" series.
The BTB845V features neck through body construction with a poplar burl top and mahogany back on ash wings attached to a 33" (838mm) scale maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret jatoba fingerboard with abalone dot position markers. The body has a double cutaway design with very distinctive, narrow, curving horns. Components include a pair of Bartolini BH2 passive pickups with an Ibanez custom preamp with a three-band EQ, stainless steel frets including a zero fret, a finger ramp which matches the top, Mono-rail bridges with 17mm string spacing, a locking Neutrik stereo output jack, a plastic nut and Ibanez tuning machines.
