This is a hard to find neck through Ibanez SR2005. Only made from 92-93, these first year editions had rosewood fretboards and maple-walnut neck laminations. Neck through Soundgears are harder to find and this was top of the line in 1992, this was a prestige model essentially before that line existed. I found a period correct Ibanez fitted case for it also in decently good shape. Everything on it looks all original. I don't really like 5 strings but the neck on this is very fast and comfortable.
It looks like the oil finish this came with was sanded off at one point and never put back properly, you can feel the raw wood throughout including the neck laminations. The serial # was mostly removed in this process. Whatever happened to it I think it's been like this for a long time considering the wear on the body. I was going to sand and refinish this but I don't play 5 strings and don't have the time to invest in something I'm not going to use. I think if you spend a day sanding this and applying some Tru oil it will look brilliant.
The case is kind of bent, the guy I bought it from said it was sitting for a long time.
