Here is a like new champagne gold Ibanez SR300 weighing in at only 7lbs per my bathroom scale which tends to be very close. Protective film still covers the pickups. Color reminds me of shoreline gold. Fret ends feel nice, straight neck and it plays great.
I bought this from Sweetwater during their recent sale as a first bass for my wife. She didn't care for the style and wants a jazz bass instead. I reached out to Sweetwater to do a return at my expense as there isn't a thing wrong with it. For whatever reason shipping from the Dallas area to Fort Wayne IN is insanely high making it a big loss to return. I'd much rather pass savings on to a local DFW based TBer rather than give that money to a shipping carrier. I'm looking to split that loss at my $200 asking price.
This is a very nice lightweight bass that would work great for someone with a bad back or small hands due to the slim Ibanez neck.
