I impulsively jumped on be train to order this back in February or something when they were on preorder. It finally arrived yesterday but my situation has changed and I don't need any other effects. I plugged it in to see what it does and it seems to be a sort of reverbish, "the depths"ish pedal with some weird pitch shifting. It's got three knobs, hard to tell exactly which each does without spending more than the 10 minutes I had with it. Overall, it is definitely a noise pedal, so you've got to be into that kind of thing. I actually think it's really cool and don't mind to hang on to it for a bit until it sells. I'll try to put a short video of it up when I can, but I'm super busy with school and work.

Just to clarify for the OP, the Mystery Effect #2 is a chorus pedal. Here is Matt's 9Idiotbox builder) description of it.

" Hey! I'm using two separate delay chips to make a chorus effect. The top knobs control the rate of each one which are slightly different from each other. The middle one slews the oscillation cycles. At some settings it won't seem like it does much, but at others you can dial in a really cool lopsided warble effect kind of like what the oldschool Leslie speakers used to do.
It's not overall very "extreme", but I thought it turned out really cool and quite useful.

Cool, thanks for clearing that up. I've only used one or two chorus pedals and this one sounds nothing like those. I wonder if the spewing of the oscillation cycle is what makes it sound like a weird pitch shifting thing. I'll still make a demo of it soon
