Fender Classic ‘60s Series Tort Jazz Bass Pickguard + Relic Threaded Bridge + Control Plate
Tort 4-ply guard has a nice reddish look to it and a cool tort pattern. Came off a ‘00s Fender Classic ‘60s Jazz. It has a light/med natural relic look to it. Lays flat. Hole pattern is the normal USA/MIM (and some CIJs). Holes drilled for a chrome pickup cover.
Includes a relic threaded bridge & screws (not sure of brand but relic job is well-done) and a relic Jazz control plate w/ screws (holes are full full-size pots, not minis like some cheaper plates).$59 Shipped (USA) - SOLD!
Fender ‘70s USA Reissue Fender Jazz Bass Pickguard + Thumbrest + Knobs
Black 3-ply guard from an American Original ‘70s Series Fender Jazz Bass. Shows a little natural wear. Lays flat. Includes a Fender reissue thumbrest & screws and a set of standard Fender Jazz knobs. $39 Shipped (USA) - SOLD
Relic ’73 Precision Bass Pickguard + Tugbar + Relic “F” Neck Plate
Realistic looking black 3-ply (light/med) relic P Bass guard. Not sure of brand (it came on a bass I got long ago), but it’s the standard USA/MIM hole pattern. Has holes for a chrome pickup cover and tugbar under the strings (which is why I call it a ’73 – that was the only year Fender ever did black guards with a tugbar). It has a slight warp on the table, but screwed down it’s very minimal… and not unlike most real vintage guards.
Includes 13 relic pickguard screws, a Fender tugbar & screws, and a relic’d “F” neck plate & screws. $39 Shipped (USA)
