The bass arrived with a bent shaft on the stacked treble/bass pot, but I put that on UPS. It was shipped in an SKB case that is in very good condition, but very likely was mis-handled by UPS. Additionally, the bass did have one major issue - the bridge was misplaced making the instrument impossible to intonate or tune. I don't put that on the seller either, that one was due to an amateur restoration that was attempted by the previous owner. All has been rectified now, but it did cost me extra $$$. At any rate, I am in this bass for much less than it's value and plan to keep it a long time.
