This bass has been in the finals of several professional auditions and has won me my current job in the Kansas City Symphony. Set up by Mike Shank for optimal ergonomics and sound, and maintained by Jed Kriegel. String length 41 7/8, Laborie endpin hole, and extended high fingerboard. The bass is currently in Kansas City, but I can get it to Boston. Price is as listed, but all offers welcome.

I can arrange a trip over to Bloomington and the IU campus for anyone in school over there who is shopping and might like to try this bass out.

Calling all Johnsons! Confirmed, the bass will be at IU first week of December for a few weeks. If you're looking for a bass to win your job, this is the one. Can't beat the combination of sound, ease, playability and price.
