Up for grab is a vintage 92 Ken Smith Chuck Rainey Signature 5-string bass with the old school 2-band preamp. In excellent condition for a 25 years old bass and it truly plays like a dream with low action and killer sound. It has the typical player wears and tears that you would expect to see on an oil finished Smith bass but nothing major. The front of the body has 2 filled holes done professionally between the 2 pickups as it was likely due to previous owner having a ramp installed and the back plate is missing a screw. Again these are the only minor issues, and can really only be seen upon close inspection. Pretty light weight for a Smith, it weights somewhere between 9.2 and 9.4 lbs according to my bathroom digital scale. The bass will be shipped with an original Smith hardshell case and a strap.
